Lens Quality

The Trijicon ACOG is one of the most popular scopes on the market, and it has a lot to do with its clarity. The lens has been designed for optical precision and eye relief which ensures that every shot you take will be crystal clear!

The 3.5×35 comes in 10 reticle options and three color options: amber for red dot sight, green or blue glass. These are just about as customizable to suit any shooter’s style out there! It also has a crisp sight picture, making aiming easy on the eyes without any strain or fatigue for users.

The major reason we prefer the red reticle to others is that red dots appear to be picked up far more easily by our eyes than green dots do; yet, many other shooters prefer green ones!

It includes a BDC (bullet drop compensator), which allows you to range out up to 1000 yards very quickly. And it has windage holds we find useful as well. Because of its large horseshoe around the dot, your eye can pick up the reticle quickly.

Plus, its fast sighting system, especially at close distances, makes target acquisition easy without messing about!

The chevron reticle has a unique design that allows you to aim at small targets accurately. The major benefit of this system is its ability to account for bullet drops, giving shooters more precision than ever before!

We wanted to get the best magnification for our needs, so we read reviews and learned that 3.5x was a good choice. The difference between 3.5X and 4X is pretty small in comparison – though if you’re looking at close-range targets, this may not matter as much!

We’re happy with our purchase now, considering all these factors: price tag, money spent on upgrading optics (they’ve never been better), etc. And we found that this kit is ideal for short-range shooting.

It’s not too bad at shorter ranges of 30-50 yards, but it becomes much more difficult to take an accurate shot when you try to shoot in distances between 200 and 300. The sweet spot for us is about 100 yards away – that’s a little bit beyond where most game animals are found in our area!

This scope is inspired by the Bindon Aiming Concept to deliver spot-on accuracy for each shot.

The founder Glyn Bindon developed many scopes that delivered this unique way of aiming, with both eyes open and focusing on your target while raising one’s optic rifle or handgun up towards the eye. He called these “Bindons.”

He aimed at targets, making use as if there were no difference between left-handed versus right-handed shooting positions or aiming optics attached.

This aiming concept is particularly effective for close-quarter battles or CQB situations. You can see your target quickly and clearly, but it also makes you aware of what’s around you because both eyes are open.

Moreover, it has anti-reflective multi-coated lenses with broadband for better light transmission and no distortion. The scope is also equipped with BatteryFree ACOG, which improves hit capability in all lighting circumstances.

The Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG) is a high-quality feature that will never let you down. It has an aluminum housing with fully multi-coating, which means there’s no distortion around the edges nor dip in clarity at all!

In fact, this model has one of the highest quality lenses we’ve seen for its price range – thanks to their process done here.

The tritium illumination at the night game will have your back and allow you to aim with confidence. Meanwhile, during the daytime, the optical fibers in this unit make all of those valuable dots stand out against any environment they may face!

Materials & Durability

The Trijicon ACOG 3.5×35 may be the toughest scope you’ll ever come across! It’s made of aircraft-quality aluminum that can withstand a beating from dents and scratches alike.

Our team has dropped ours several times without any marks on it at all. We’ve also taken hits against trees or hit our own rifle against them with no damage done whatsoever!.

The Trijicon features a highly durable design filled with dry nitrogen that is waterproof and shockproof. It won’t fog up and is water-resistant up to 100 feet. Therefore, it will tolerate rainy conditions without any problems and some bumps along the way!

We’ve never submerged ours in water. However, we have brought it out in the rain several times, and it continues to work well.

Plus, all those classic brand features like their extremely durable finish, which means this product will last for years!

The manufacturer also offers a limited lifetime warranty to offer help if there are any problems with your product.

Battery Life

With a battery-powered device, you risk losing vision if the battery dies. However, when we used the Trijicon ACOG 3.5×35, we didn’t have to worry at all about cells dying.

Since this Trijicon ACOG is operated using fiber optics with Tritium, this won’t happen (people regard it as dual illumination).

The fiber optics in the scope gather energy to light up your reticle and glow with tritium gas that allows it to work well at low lumens.

This makes long-hour or sit -and wait hunting possible. You won’t need extra equipment like flashlights for illumination on dark days when using this product.

The adjustment turrets now have tethered caps, and underneath them, you can turn by hand too! Before, it required a special tool for this job in older gadgets.

At 100 yards, modifications to the altitude and windage turrets are made at a rate of 3 clicks every 1 inch. This isn’t perfect, but it’ll suffice. Unlike older models where you had to use a bullet shell or something similar as an adjusting tool, these scopes come with adjustable finger turrets which make things much easier than before!

Social Proof

You may have been wondering if the product you just purchased is worth it. Don’t take a risk and find out for yourself with these user reviews that seem pretty positive!

  • Built on a solid foundation
  • Well-made and has a military feel to it
  • A lighted reticle that performs well in low light
  • Lifetime warranty
  • Sufficient eye relief for medium-range shooting
  • Adequately magnified image
  • High standard optics
  • Not overly large size
  • Quite appealing eyepiece
  • Quite long-lasting
  • No need for a battery
  • Comes with several extras
  • Quite pricey
  • Lack the same level of adjustability that we’re used to
  • Cannot make long-range shooting

Final Thoughts

The Trijicon ACOG 3.5×35 riflescope is durable, reliable, and battle-tested – a great choice for any hunter after a premium short-distance scope.
